Art, Science & getting the most out of life

As we touch the Eastern coast of the North American continent on our virtual journey from Aberdeen to Antarctica, and all places in between, I talk to artist Elizabeth Whelan who lives in Martha’s Vineyard on the Atlantic Coast of North America. I was inspired to get in touch with Elizabeth having seen her painting of Applied Ocean Physics Engineer Megan Carroll. What a great conversation we had about science and art – and just living life to the full, making the most of the opportunities that arise and quelling that immobilising fear. I left the conversation feeling totally inspired.
